Lower the CPU into the socket

  • Lower the CPU into the socket, ensuring that all pins fall into their matching holes.

  • The pins do not have to be perfectly straight for this to happen, but they have to be close.

  • The CPU should fall into the socket without any pressure. Do not push the CPU into the socket.

  • If the pins don't find their holes immediately, or if only one side goes in, remove the CPU and check its pins again.

  • When installed correctly, the CPU will sit flush with the edges of the socket. There shouldn't be any gaps.

Laat de CPU in het contact zakken

Laat de CPU in het contact zakken en zorg dat alle pinnen in hun respectievelijke gaten vallen.

De pinnen hoeven niet perfect recht te zijn om dit mogelijk te maken, maar ze moeten wel vrijwel helemaal rechtgebogen zijn.

De CPU zou zonder enige druk in het contact moeten vallen. Druk de CPU niet in het contact.

Als de pinnen niet direct in hun bijbehorende gat vallen, of als slechts één kant van de CPU in het contact valt, verwijder je de CPU en check je de pinnen nog eens.

Als de CPU op correcte wijze geïnstalleerd is, zal de CPU op één lijn zitten met alle randen van het contact. Er zouden geen gaten of ruimtes moeten zijn.
